The platform supports four distinct report types — mold inspections with laboratory results, full home inspections, remediation projects, and plumbing inspections — each with industry-specific, standardized content presets and section-based findings.

Inspectors can capture environmental readings, upload photos and thermal image pairs, record moisture measurements, annotate floor plans with sample collection points, and import laboratory results through AI-assisted extraction. The system automatically generates professional PDF reports, tracks payment status, sends invoices and reminders to clients, and provides a branded client portal where homeowners can view their reports, sign contracts, and pay invoices online.

Beyond reporting, SimpleScope includes scheduling with route optimization, travel-time estimation, county-crossing tracking, neighborhood risk analysis, equipment and consumables management, offline map support, and a multi-tenant subscriber system that lets each inspector run their own branded inspection business on a single platform.
